My Thoughts: Last Episode BUT Not The Finale
Life for Luc Du’mont is in a downward spiral: he no longer has a place to stay, no best friend and the woman he loves hates him. Luc is lost and confused about what to do and where to go now that his heart is shattered. What is the Frenchman to do when all that he wanted is gone and his past may have ruined his future? While luckily for Luc he still has one true friend in the city and she may be the complete answer to his problems. But will accepting her offer of help ruin any chance of repairing the relationships he has?
Overall, Oh My Gosh!! The cliffhanger on this episode is almost too cruel! But fear not the end is not the end. I initially thought this series of episodes was to equal one story and done, but nope this is only the first season and I can't wait for next season to come. Luc has truly laid all his cards on the table this season and I really hope he wins his HEA.

My Thoughts: Things Get Hot And Then . . .
Luc is on the hunt for a FiancΓ© after his last proposal was shot down. He has a weekend to find a willing woman to marry him before his INS appointment on Monday. Of course just when Luc is about ready to throw in the towel, Serena re-enters the scene. Luc and Serena have a wonderful moment before things become troubled leaving Luc more lost than ever before.
Overall, aggravatingly good! Luc almost has something going good then . . We'll something else happens that kills the hot mood. One of Luc's dates give him a piece of therapy he desperately needed which was good since the poor guy was getting pathetic with all the proposals. Even though honestly I'd probably say yes to a hot French guy if one randomly proposed to me. But besides all that, I'm now seriously dying for the next and FINAL episode. Luc had better get a HEA because right now I'm a bit scared considering the way things ended.

My Thoughts: Up Then Down
Luc is finally given his big break BUT the INS is still not budging when it comes to his visa extension. In fact the only way to save his time in America is to get married. Luc already has so many reservations about his French for hire job that the idea of marrying for a green card makes him sick. Especially, when Serena is all he can think of when the words love or marriage are mentioned.
Overall, good read from the last story, but I feel bad for Luc. For every step forward something happens to make him have to take two steps back. Luc could practically feel everything working out with his job and love life, but of course harsh realities hit him. There is signs of hope at the end of Luc's tunnel of troubles, but I don't know how it'll end. Especially, when he was about to go off and be with someone else so fast on a rash decision. That totally threw me, but I'm excited to see what happens next for the French gentleman.

My Thoughts: The Knight On A Bike!
Episode 3 continues with Luc taking another date, this time helping a woman. . . fake it for the sake of her job. Good thing she choose to hire Luc who is nothing but a gentlemen and great fake boyfriend to attend anything with. Luc helps his date realize that to be truly happy she may just have to forget everyone and everything to go after what truly matters to her, which makes him feel like a hypocrite as he still pines after Serena, the one thing he can't have. Fate changes when preparing for his next date he gets a call from not another date but from Serena crying and slurring. Serena begs for him to come get her and Luc immediately goes to her rescue without a second thought for his heart, because Serana already holds it.
Overall, I'm loving Luc more and MORE! The more interactions or "dates" he goes on the more I REALLY want Luc to have a HEA. It doesn't even have to be with Serena but because Luc loves her then fine let it be Serena. I love how Luc is taking everything in stride, despite the INS being on him and only one real acting chance, Luc is still there for his friends. Seriously Luc should really drop acting and go into counseling because he understands people. I can't wait to read more about his life and see what may hopefully develop between Luc and Serena, now that someone seems to be out of Serena's life.

My Thoughts: Date For Money Or Pine For Unrequited Love?
Episode 2 continues with Luc Du'mont as he still grapples with the emotions from his passionate kiss with Serena. Luc would love nothing more than for Serena to be his but seeing as her brother is his best friend and roommate makes her something just out of reach. Logically Luc knows Serena is off limits but emotionally she's all he can think about. So with the pressure of his visa expiring and his lack of acting jobs, Luc begins to wonder if he is cut out for the world of acting, especially after a botched audition. Now on top of all his emotional woes, Luc finds himself bombarded with call after call for dates. Somehow word got out that Luc is the hottest french kisser and friend, so now his cell is ringing nonstop. All the women of Chicago want a date with the gentleman Luc, but the question is will he accept their offers even if it pays wells?
Overall, loved this next episode. Poor Luc is stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to his morals and finances. To say Luc is a gentleman feels like an understatement, because the way he handles his situation with all the woman calling, most men would have been all for multiple dates especially if they got paid. However, Luc has huge reservations about taking money for spending time with women. Ugh! I want Serena to just realize Luc is right there for her, and Ben needs to lighten up cause Luc is awesome. Anyways, if you've read the first episode you'll want to read this one as Luc makes a few key decisions in his life. Can't wait for the next episodes.

- SYNOPSIS -
Sensitive and sexy Frenchman, Luc Du’mont, is living the American dream. He’s spent the last four years at university on an acting scholarship. Now, with graduation behind him, he’s ready to make his big Hollywood splash.

The catch? His debut has to happen before his student visa expires in two months. Otherwise, he’ll be shipped home to France, and all of his acting opportunities will sail with him.

Most important, he’ll lose any chance at winning blond-bombshell Serena Dawson’s heart. As the sister of his roommate, she is strictly off limits. But when Serena approaches Luc for kissing advice, what can Luc do other than pucker up?

The kiss leads to much more than Luc ever imagined. When word gets out about Luc’s lip-locking skills and his unemployment leaves him desperate,

Luc finds himself with a new career path: French Kiss for Hire.

Except the only client he wants is the one girl he can’t have.

My Thoughts: Kissing Friend and Therapist
Perfect for this Valentine's Day Weekend and for those who love romance. The male lead was not at all what I was expecting and turned me to mush, which I promise is something that doesn't happen easily. These six authors have a sweet romance story on their hands and I can't wait to read more!
Aspiring actor and recent college graduate, Luc Du'mont, is struggling to meet ends meet. Luc has only a couple of months to secure a job before his visa expires and he is sent back home to France. Deep in his heart Luc knows acting is what he is meant to do, but he just hasn't gotten his role yet. Lucky for Luc his best friend and roommate, Ben Dawson, is there for him and doesn't mind shouldering the finances here and there because he believes that Luc will catch his big break. Luc knows he is blessed to have a great friend in Ben especially since he would take to his home in the country and include him in the Dawson family. So when Ben's younger sister Serena stops by and Luc tries to keep his friendly distance, things seem to go wrong when she asks for help in learning how to kiss. What's a gentleman Frenchman to do deny help or indulge in the one thing he's wanted more than anything?
Overall, absolutely loved it! I'll admit I had begun reading this book thinking it's plot was going to one way and thankfully I was wrong. When the male lead is French you tend think he might be kinda sleazy, but Luc is the total opposite he is a gentleman and uber sweet! Luc is basically a kissing therapist but not in a lewd way. You want him to have his HEA and I can't wait to read more about him and his journey. So if you are looking for a short romantic read that you'll want more of than this will sate you for now but you'll want to read the rest of the French For Hire episodes.

My Thoughts: Holy Smokes! Really?!

This book seemed soo promising based on the book description, however I did not feel it lived up to it's potential until the end and then  . . . IT FREAKING THREW ME!! This book was rather hard to get into and kind of strange at times, But it was the end that made it memorable book. Now grant it this book is not one I'd pick up again, but if you want a mind blown "what the heck?!" then this'll do.
The story is told in dual narrative form to help a read better understand and know the main character who are Hadley Grayson and James McKay. Now a reader can either love dual perspective or hate it, I liked it, but found Mckay point of view at times to be too immature and less appealing to read than Grayson's at times. But I still believe both perspectives were a good idea for this book.
Hadley Grayson and her family move from a relatively nice place in Connecticut to a nowheresville of Ravel, Pennsylvania. She was settled in Connecticut being the captain of her high school fencing team she knew who her friends were and was ready to start her senior year, but her mom got a new job and the family moved. Her twin brother Simon easily fits into the new school in Ravel and makes friends but Hadley finds it hard and finds herself more alone even when surrounded by people.
James Mckay the resident nobody somebody that everyone knows is just a little off but never gets to know. He goes by Mckay and lets no one near, because if he did he might get caught. Only few know that he is the resident "cook" or supplier in town for illicit drug. The problem is he isn't in it for the fame, riches, drugs, adrenaline, no its all in ends to a means for him. He wasn't out of the town and uses it as his only way to get enough cash to save up to pay for college.
Not the kingpin one would assume and not the sweet brainless beauty queen people would think, Mckay and Hadley find themselves drawn to each other. Their loneliness is the connection that pulls them together and it's their relationship that could bring trouble, because when you deal in drugs no one is safe.
Overall, Interesting story and concept, I just couldn't get into the story until maybe halfway though it, mostly because I just couldn't connect with Mckay. He was sooo strange and I understand that he was written in a certain way, but he was so far out there at times. And Hadley the girl latches onto Mckay fast. Their relationship is love, but not and it's hard to really retell, so you just go with how the author put it from Hadley's words, "I felt sorry for him but I didn't understand why, there was no specific reason to pity him, but my gut told me he needed sympathy." I always felt like Hadley fell into the relationship out of pity, or as she said sympathy, because she found a kindred lonely spirit in Mckay, rather than it being love. Well, I suppose ultimately the author must have done a good in getting me little wrapped up, because that ending it's a bit abrupt but DANG! Din't see it ending that way and can only say read this if your okay with spending free time on a story you may or may not regret reading, cause I'm still on the fence.
