- SYNOPSIS -
It’s revenge—sweet and hot—in the first book of this sexy and wickedly funny series by international bestselling author Tara Brown.

For the young, rich, and beautiful, summertime in the Hamptons means one thing: Fling Club. Only this time, Cherry Kennedy won’t be selecting a boy for a fleeting romance. Nope, this season, Cherry is out for revenge. Her target? The Fling Club founder and society darling who slept with Cherry’s now-very-ex-boyfriend. And all Cherry needs is the perfect guy for her plan…

Ashley Jardine can’t afford to refuse. He scored almost a full ride to MIT. But that almost still costs a lot. And this is so much money for a little game of revenge and a chance—albeit short—to live the high life. Here, rich girls rule the shore, and everyone has a role to play. Only nothing in the job description warned Ashley that the redhead who’s running the scheme would be so crazy. And cute. Or that he wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about her.

Now, everything is going according to plan—until an unexpected attraction raises the stakes. It’s enough to turn the perfect payback into absolute heartbreak.

My Thoughts: Mean Girls Invades The Hamptons 💅🏻
If you grew up terrified but entranced by all things upper east side like Gossip Girl or those too rich for you snobs like The O.C., then you’ll enjoy this book and series to follow. This book takes the worst of the blue blood east coast world and has the characters go from revolting to repenting. Honestly, it’s not a feel good happy rom-com but definitely hate to love with laughter thrown in to break the painful tension.
Having found love and wanting out of Fling Club, a members only girls rule the Hamptons and boys are secondary to the members highly guarded rules, Cheryl ‘Cherry’ Kennedy had hopes of quitting the summer flings. But when she finds her boyfriend. Griffin, in bed with the Fling Club leader, Cait; Cherry now has one thing on her mind: Revenge. With the help of her sister and brother, Cherry begins to plan the perfect plan to bring down Cait, but they need bait and in walks MIT student, Ashley Jardine. He dislikes the rich and all they do and stand for, but the attraction to him and he to Cherry is instantaneous. Will the two be able to resist and keep to their parts of the plan, even when their HEA could be at stake?
Overall, I loved it, probably because I’ve grown up with this kind of a romance novel and enjoy when the pauper gets to stick it a bit to the princess. Luckily the princess in this story is just a rich socialite in America and realizes her place in the world isn’t set in stone, she can change her status and future especially with some help from a sexy nerd. I gotta say I think Ashley is one if not the sexiest nerds I’ve ever read about, and he’s sure not shy when it comes to some romance. Got to remind myself to get post-its and get to MIT stat! Anyways, I’m excited to see what more could happen in this series and hopefully some more scenes involving Ashley and Cherry.

Hey, It's A Blog Tour for "Whole Lotta Frogs" by Samatha Harris

WHOLE LOTTA FROGS
BLOG TOUR
AUTHOR: SAMATHA HARRIS
RELEASE DATE: JUNE 19, 2018
COVER DESIGNER: T.E. BLACK DESIGNS
My name is Lennox Brooks and I’ll admit, I’ve made a lot of mistakes. I don’t take the big risks, I cover my insecurities with snark, I’ve shown my crazy a few more times then I would’ve liked, and I’ve been trying, and failing at love pretty much since I first grew tits.

Weirdos, Mama’s boys, the over-coiffed, and underwhelming, I’ve been out with them all, just read my blog. I’ve got horror stories that would curl your toes and singe your nose hairs, but none of them compare to the toad who started it all, Ellis Walker.

He was the boy next door, the charming, infuriatingly gorgeous one who broke my heart and disappeared without a trace. Now he’s back and determined to throw my life into chaos, dredging up painful memories just when things were getting good.

But the thing is there are always two sides to every story.

I’ve spent the better part of my life hating him for everything he put me through, but without that resentment clouding my judgment how will I ever resist him?

Love is complicated, appearances are deceiving, and sometimes you have to kiss a whole lotta frogs before finding your prince.

My Thoughts: Whole Lotta Funny, Chemistry and Frog Drama!
Loved the way this book was written, being formatted chapter then blog post on said chapter. It was like a funny diary tell all from the main characters perspective. The story feels real because the drama is real, some times one does go through too many frogs before realizing whom their prince really is.
Having dated all types of men the internet and apps have to offer, Lennox Brooks, is certain that all she can catch is frogs with no Prince Charming in sight. So when her childhood neighbor the infuriating but distractingly hot, Ellis Walker, comes back into her life and tries to make amends while . . . flirting. Lennox’s high school broken heart can’t take this side of Ellis and is determined not to let him humiliate her again. But Ellis is relentless and while Lennox searches for love, Ellis asks for a chance to be Lennox’s prince. Problem is Lennox will need to decide if she can trust Ellis’ intentions and know he isn’t just messing with her heart.
Overall, love the realness of this book and how open Lennox was in her dating woes. In big cities you’d think dating would be easy since there’s so many “options” but truthfully those options are not always the best. Lennox finds out a lot about who she is, what she wants in life and who she wants in the whole process of picking through frogs. Ellis, gawd that man, I’d have kicked him in the nuts too for what he did and how arrogant he was at times, but of course he redeems himself and shows some frogs can actually be annoying but charming prince. So if you want to ready a book about a girl finding herself and her prince while blogging about the mishaps of dating interesting men, this book will entertain you.

Samatha “Sam” Harris lives near Baltimore, Maryland with her husband David and daughter Ava. Born in Florida, she migrated north which most people agree was a little backwards. She has been an artist all of her life, a Tattoo Artist for more than ten years, and a storyteller since she was a kid.

Sam has a slightly unhealthy love for Frank Sinatra, classic movies, and Jazz and Blues music, but her first love will always be reading. From Romance, to Thrillers, to Historical Fiction and everything in between, she loves to become a part of the story. As a writer she tells the stories that she would want to read.

- SYNOPSIS -
Grip it softly.
Stroke it smooth.

And you’ll sink right into the hole. That’s my motto both on and off the golf course. The women come in full supply everywhere I go and there are no complaints. Maybe it’s the size of my driver that gets them going.

I’m Lucas “Ace” Montgomery, professional golfer and world record holder for the longest drive in golf history. The PGA Tour has been my life, but it’s time for a break. A few relaxing weeks of drinking and golf with friends in Myrtle Beach is what I need. However, when a bright pink ball knocks me out on the course, and a blonde beauty comes to my aid, I expect to see a gallery girl, a.k.a a member of the Party Groupie Association.

Trust me, those girls know how to have fun. Although, to my surprise, it’s not what I get at all.

Dr. Ashley Locke is beautiful and everything I’d want if I was ever to get serious about someone.

Unfortunately, she has no interest in me whatsoever which only makes me want her more.

All she wants is to get through her friend’s bachelorette weekend and go back to her life. But after injuring me on the course, I’m not letting her run away so easily.

When I want something, I get it.

I’m not competing for money this time.

All I want is to win her heart.

My Thoughts: Hole in One⛳️ Right Here!
I don’t know how she does it but L.P. Dover can make the cocky a**hole into the perfect swoon worthy man and then pair him with a strong female who just needs to let go and fall in love. The whole novel was wonderfully crafted with a good balance between character perspectives and the ever important angst of will she let him or will he break her trust kind of burdening questions.
Having to attend a bachelorette week at Myrtle Beach away from her patients is not ideal for Dr. Ashley Locke. But she’d do anything for her brother Cameron and her soon to be sister in law Olivia. Luckily her bff Harper is part of the bridal party and can help her relax. So when Harper suggests flirting with some hot guests and letting the night go where it may, Ashley reluctantly follows because of a certain stranger with the most compelling eyes and cocky smirk. Lucas “Ace” Montgomery, is professional golfer and spontaneously decides to take a break from the PGA Tour, so he can relax with his brother and best friend away from the pressure of his career and fame. Never did he imagine finding the most beautiful and stubborn woman of his life. After what was meant to be a one night stand, Lucas realizes Ashley isn’t like any other woman he’s ever encountered and aims to make her realize she’s the one for him. Only problem is Ashley seems to hate his guts and isn’t ready to trust him one bit.
Overall, wonderful summer read that was great to enjoy beach side. Trust me I tested this method. But seriously, the novel and characters were sweet, sassy, sexy, arrogant, charming and confident. I loved how the author even had the characters mention the fact how great this book would be if turned into a movie, because you had three bachelors going out for a fun vacay and then BAM!, they found their ones. Favorite character was the man himself, Lucas, who was sexy as heck but sweet as pie. That man definitely knew how to compete for Ashley’s heart and I’m glad Ashley made him work for it. Oh and if you don’t care for golf or know anything about golf, like myself, no worries, Lucas and Ashley make golf seem appealing. So if you want to read about a woman wanting to avoid any type of scandal but finds herself falling for a celebrity who’s surrounded by gossip that could ruin her before ruining them, then you’ll enjoy this read.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<==========>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I stepped into an enormous bowl made of trampolines. Bright neon-green padding ran in a grid-like pattern across the entire arena, separating each trampoline into its own little rectangle. The springy black fabric covered every available surface, including the walls.

I stepped down into the closest square, giving it a test bounce, and smiled. It doesn’t matter how old you get. It’s impossible not to smile when bouncing on a trampoline.

We had the entire bowl to ourselves. I could still hear the music and the screaming, but it sounded distant and not nearly as deafening.

Ellis bounced back and forth from square to square, the squeaking of the springs mixed with my own tentative steps.

“Is this part of your plan?” I asked.

Ellis stopped jumping and rested his hands on his hips to catch his breath. “I could’ve gone with the cliché dinner and movie, but I figured you could use a little bit of fun.”

I laughed. “You’re right. I could use some fun. I’ve been a little stressed since this guy from my past came back into my life and won’t leave me alone.”

Ellis shrugged. “Maybe he likes you.”

I laughed and jumped to another square. “He thinks he does.”

“Trust me, Len. He knows.”

“Okay, so what’s next? Or was your grand plan to make me work out against my will.”

Ellis held up one finger and disappeared through the curtain of netting, only to reappear with a bag of bright red balls.

“What is that?”

“I was thinking about what you said about me torturing you when we were younger. I was a punk kid trying to get the attention of the girl he liked, but I get how it may not have felt that way to you.” He dropped the bag at my feet and turned it upside down, emptying six rubber balls at my feet. “This is your chance to get me back.”

Ellis made his way to the other side of the bowl and opened his arms. “Let me have it, Len. All I ask is that you don’t aim for the face.”

“You want me to hit you?”

“If you’re ever going to give us a chance, you need to let go of the past, and if this is what it takes to get you to forgive me then so be it. I’m willing to take the hit.”

I picked up a ball, testing the weight in my hands and eyeing him as he stood, arms wide open, feet spread apart, muscles tense and prepared for impact.

I wanted to hit him. I really did. But I am an adult, and adults don’t solve problems by hurling rubber projectiles.

“I can’t,” I said. “This is childish.”

“You scared?” he asked that trademark smirk of his spread wide across his face.

“I’m not scared. This is stupid.”

“I agree, but continuing to punish me for the mistakes I made as a kid is also pretty stupid.”

Anger welled inside of me and I drew back, hurling the ball as hard as I could toward his chest. The ball hit its target with a loud thud and bounced away.

Victory swelled inside my chest.

“See?” Ellis said. “Feeling a little vindicated, aren’t you?”

“Shut up,” I said, hurling the next ball toward him.
