My Thoughts: More Mystery and More Suspects, Guaranteed Same Amazing Melissa Pearl Writing!

This new version of Melissa Pearl's "Betwixt" it's filled with more mystery and suspects in the search for the who, where, and why. If you loved the first version then this one will only make you love the story and characters more. Plus the cover is just too gorgeous not to pass up, it's definitely an eye catcher.
Having a life most high schoolers would envy full of popularity with minimal parental supervision, beauty and a hot bad boy boyfriend, Nicole Tepper might be said to have it all. It's not until after a "study" party that Nicole awakens in a ghostly state trapped between life and death. Nicole can’t remember anything but feels herself occasionally pulled back to where her injured body lies in a wooded area, but not the exact location. Desperate for help Nicole finds the most unlikely of help, Dale Finnegan, the one classmate she has helped isolate by bullying. Despite their rough history Dale helps Nicole as they search for answers and more importantly finding Nicole's body before it's too late.
Overall, loved it . . . again. The mystery side of the story is more complex and lends to a better book. I loved the original story but the new version has a bit more clout of doubt as to who done it and why. Nicole and Dale are one of my favorite couples that Melissa Pearl has written so I can't wait to read her revised prequel and Novella about them which is so to follow. So if you liked Betwixt you'll love this version and if you're a reader who likes romance and mystery you should try this book.
